What is a session like? You will be lying on your side (this is preferable), or in some extreme circumstances an upright position. A ear candle is placed into the ear & lit. The process can take anywhere from 8 - 20 minutes per ear, based on the size & thickness of the candle. It is of the utmost importance that you only have your ears candled by a trained ear candling practitioner, who uses quality ear candles. The ear candling process overall, is very soothing & relaxing.

Does Ear Candling hurt? Absolutely not! It is a painless, and a totally relaxing experience. (Remember: to visit a trained ear candling practitioner.)
Q: How often should I have Ear Candling done? A: Initially, most people need just 2 or 3 sessions to provide a sense of wellbeing…..However, some may need up to eight sessions over a six month period. Once you obtain a sense of wellbeing, personal preference should determine how often you ear candled for personal maintenance…probably every three to six months would be practical.
Q: Who can benefit from ear candling? A: Ear Candling can benefit almost everyone, from infants to adults. However there are different groups of people who will may benefit more than others. They include: musicians, especially singers and horn blowers. People who wear hearing aids, anyone who works with loud noises, people who fly, divers / swimmers. People who lie on their side to sleep.
Q: Who should not have ear candling done? A: Ear Candling should not be done to people who have ear tubes, perforated eardrums or artificial eardrums, if you are unsure if ear candling will be of benefit to you, please consult your medical health practitioner.
